Welcome Home Baptist Church was founded in 1936 in the Cricket community in Wilkes County, NC. The church name evolved through a recommendation by a committee upon suggestion by Mrs. Monroe Snider, who stated that she wanted a church where everyone could feel welcome. 70 years later, our doors are wide open waiting to welcome you. A door of opportunity is open before us at Welcome Home Baptist Church. The Lord has given us a window of time to do His will. No other church can do what God is calling Welcome Home Baptist Church to do. Our vision is to reach our community, county, state, nation, and yes our world with the GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. Our desire is to win men, women, boys and girls to our precious Savior and then disciple them into mature servants of Jesus Christ. As Jesus said of Himself, we want to be busy about our Father's business.
